STATEMENT. In the last 10 years I have been immersed in science, while practicing as a visual artist. My works rely on the confluence of two approaches: the context is provided by viewing through the lens of science the simple acts and facts of daily life, such as the experience of our own body and how it constantly modifies the environment, or the way routine behavior reshapes our visual perception. On the other hand I combine diverse techniques such as painting, interactive displays, and robotics, to create hybrid ecosystems that expose the fragile equilibrium between biological and artificial elements.
